Yea, Bob those are nice replacement wheels and look good. I almost went that route but wanted more of a custom look and the 500 wheels look more stock just my opinion. I get so many looks and questions on my bike now it makes most of my harley riding buddies jealous

[QUOTE=DShenO;1755516]Just an update!! I haven't purchased the adapter kit yet because I'm having a hard time finding a replacement front wheel I can afford. I'm hopping to find a used 21" inch wheel that would fit along with the adapter. If any one has one similar to the one on JDVULCAN's bike and is willing to sell it let me know.

you can use a front rim off the 900 custom, its a direct bolt on , you just need the rotor. i have one and currently polishing it . its just as nice as any custom rim and only $50 bucks from e bay.
sorry no current pics with the 900 wheel,

Now that is interesting. I have become accustomed to the fat tire in front now but i may horde a wheel or two for future projects.

I have been pondering the idea but would like some opinions.
LOOKING for a b model fender reasonable priced (cheap) Thanks
jdvlcan, in answer to your question about how much I want to spend... I'd say some where in the neighborhood of $400. However, if you're saying that you may be willing to sell the one on your vulcan, which I really like, I'd be open to negotiate.

How does your spoke wheel look? I have about $600 in my setup with new tire. Tire has about 1k on it now. I open to offers. I am still looking for nice spoke wheel and b model rear fender. I would be willing to do some trading and cash

    jdvulcan,
I'm not to savy on this but my bike has 6750 miles on it, the wheels and tires are the originals and as shown on my pics the spokes and wheel look great.

I'm willing to offer you the $600 for yours if it includes the tire. OR If you're interested in my front spoked wheel/tire as a trade I'm willing to do so and will through in $150. As far as the b model rear fender I can not help you.

I'm willing to talk offline if you'd prefer.

sorry no current pics with the 900 wheel,

So you're saying the vn900 front wheel will fit the vn800 with no problems other than the rotor? What spacers did you use?

    Default 1996 vulcan 800

here is my 1996 vulcan 800 classic with 5720 miles. house of kolor paint, painted hypercharger, nice pipes with full length shields, i bought it with 4300 miles in may. it was a garage queen. as far a condition,i would put it up against a 2004 vulcan 800. it is clean. i like to trade it for a mustang or $3000 possibly. if i sell it i will regret it come spring when i catch motorcycle fever. but i have always wanted a mustang, like the 1999 model.

800A spacers, direct bolt on, riden 1000 miles and pulled it off to polish it. that is taking to much time.

Thats some good info to know. Do you have any pics with the vn900 wheel? I bet it gives it a different look.

I thought I would share a few pics of my Vulcan 800A. I just had a local bike shop painted. Why camouflage? To honor my father in-law who served in WWII and Korean war and my brother who now serves in the A rmy and is an IRAQ war Vet.
where did you find your highway pegs/bars at? How and what did they mount to?

I can't believe no one has commented on your bike, it looks great!

Did you do most of the work yourself? I really can't decide what I like most about it, the seat, paint, or just entire setup, sweet ride.
