Finally Sold

Well I finally got the last payment on the Yamaha Virago I've been trying to sell. I didn't really try too hard, I think I put it in the paper once...but then I met this guy at the dealer where I bought my new bike...and he was looking for something cheap for his first bike...so I told him what we had in the garage, and he came that day to look at it. He gave me his first payment about a month later, and tonight, he paid me in full. It's finally gone...YAY.

I do hope that he enjoys it. It's a 1986, and I'm sure it's going to need some TLC.

It is great that you were able to find somebody who was looking for what you had.

you know whats really weird, I was in another non make specific bike forum yesterday and some guy posted from AZ how he just picked up a really rare 86 yami virago he got really cheap from a lady he met while bike shopping....said he was glad to find such a cheap deal.....

No, no sadness here...I never really loved the bike anyway..not like I love this one. Even though I have barely ridden because of the heat out here...

That is very strange that you read that yesterday..I sold it for $1500.

Hey snicker, I almost got to ride today but first it was too cold... Then it warmed up but it was too windy...then the wind died down but it was too hot...then it cooled down again but it was too dark.... maybe next weekend. LIVE TO RIDE YEAH!

Shame on you Chromie - you know that Spok, or any of us for that matter, would never do such a thing!! Dawn, I read the same post and the guy was saying how it was a specific very RARE model that is worth at least 5 times what he paid for it!
(Not really, just razzing ya!)
