Default Much better looking than my Vulcan

I can't think of many things that I like looking at more than my 900 after it is washed and polished. But I saw something today that absolutely blows the bike out of the water when it comes to being beautiful.

My daughter presented me with my first grandchild this morning. She is healthy and sweet and reminds me of when I first held her newborn mom some 23 years ago. Mom and baby are both doing well.

I am walking on air. The bike will just have to understand if I pay it little or no attention for a few days.

Congrats. No matter how much I love looking at my clean 900 custom, when my daughter comes out the door she's all I care to watch. Love them kiddos. Spoil the grandchild, after all you've done your job by raising her mom

Cool. You'll have to make room in one of the saddlebags now.

That's against the law in Texas now as of the beginning of last month. I believe any child under 6 must be in a sidecar.

Congrats on becoming a grampaw.

Congats Grand-Pa !!! I have 5 little rug rats, and my youngest daughter will be giving us our 6th grandchild in 5 days (October 15) via C-section.
Sure makes for a busy home when they are all here at the same time.
However, we love it, and I really enjoy playing with the grand-kids and making them talk. I learn so much about life with them.

I am SO READY to be a grampa. What did you do to convince them to do that? I've been drumming my fingers since 4/9/05

Thanks for all the good wishes and for the reminders regarding the importance of holding onto the sweet moments as they so rapidly pass us by. The daughter says no motorcycle at all till she is 18, but I have a plan. Gonna teach her to work on and polish it with me. Will take her with me to look at new bikes and to races. She"s a newborn. To a certain extent, time is on my side. Her mom will give in by the time she is the appropriate age to try it for herself.

I"m down with the flu. It's killing me that I can't go see them or hold the baby. Oh well. I'll feel better and they will still be there.

Thanks again!
