Default Linbar on 900 custom

I would like to get a Linbar for my 09 900 custom but the website says that it only fits the classic. This confuses me as I thought they had the same frame. Has anyone tried the bar on there custom or know why it wouldn't fit?

i was the first 900 custom to have these bars... they dont fit because the classic 900 floorboards are completely different than the 900 custom footpegs. The Linbar does not fit the 900 custom at all. i had to send it back and they gave me a refund. THey are not interested in making them for the 900 custom. its a bummer. THey would've looked really good on my bike. sorry for the bad news.

Probably won't fit the custom because of the forward controls.

They didnt work because of the forward controls... my feet were hitting the bar. It was ridiculous.
