Yes, I just plug the 1/8 jack from my UNiQ amp into the GPS, then both music and navigation instructions come out the UNiQ speakers. I have only used it a couple of times, but everything seems to work fine. It is also nice that the music is temporarily muted while the navigation instructions are given and the volume levels can be adjusted independently.

We run a Garmin 750 and it has been teriffic. Took trips of 3700 and 4500 miles and it never missed a turn. It is quick and easy to program. I programmed a 4 leg trip for my sister-in-law lastnight in about 15 minutes. It has the same interface as the zumo at a fraction of the price. Any of the Garmin Nuvi's are great devices for a few bucks.

Someone, not sure if its Garmin or not, has a website that they sell their GPS units refurbished, but offer full warranties on them. Anyone know the site?

have you ever been in heavy traffic and wished you knew a alternate route. The gps will give you that info. They can even tell you how much time it will add to your trip verus the orginal trip less the traffic.

I have the Zumo 550 and for the first 2 years I was very happy. Then Bluetooth stopped working. It does work with another Zumo 550 so I knew it wasn't my Scala. It cost me $150 (plus shipping cost to them) to replace with a refurbished unit since it was out of warranty. I am now on my 3rd reburbished unit with the same issue. Checked the Bluetooth version against the Zumo that works and it is the same. They can't figure out the issue and I don't feel like sending it back again so I have finally given up on Bluetooth.

Most people are happy but I am no longer happy since the Bluetooth voice commands were a great feature and now I have to continually look at the GPS when leading a ride.

Thats scarey. I have had mine almost 2 years now. And like you love the bluetooth feature. Thats the main reason I bought this model.

Zumo 550 is feature rich, many 550 owners think they are #1. They are right pricy however. I have one and it's great. I have my cell phone and Zumo bluetoothed to my Interphone Blue Ant helmet headset and make/receive phone calls with no problems up to 80mph. My son uses a Cardo Scala bluetoothed to his phone and Zumo 550. The Cardo has an FM radio built in and two speakers etc. It's pretty interesting to carry on a cell phone conversation between bikes while riding.

We have both had the Zumo's for a little over two years.
"Knock-on-wood", no problems.

I know if say my Zumo was lost or stolen, I would replace it with another Zumo 550 for sure.
Now that I have had it, I would really miss it if it was gone.
