Default seat mount and sissy bar tech

built these seat mounts the other night. nothin too special, but they work and i like em.

startin to build a new sissy bar. this is just the beginnin. this is just the lower part that mounts to the swing arm. but we all know, the devil is in the details. i will update sometime soon with more metal manipulation goodness.

Very creative bro, and to make 2 of the same bends can be a pain in the rear. Them joints look pretty smooth after cleaning them up. I take it that the sissy bar is supporting the fender? Also where did you find that solid tube?

it was a bit of a pain. had to go back and forth a few times with all three sets of bends. but i had a friend manning the torch so it made it a bit easier. the fender is being held up by the sissy bar. the two bungs you see in the second pic are welded to the sissy bar and threaded on the under side. bolts come thru fender and into bungs. and the fender has another mounting point at the swing arm, under the seat. just half inch solid round bar. got it at a local scrap yard. cheaper than most places. you shouldnt have too much trouble findin some.

It makes it a lot easier when you have an extra pair of hands to help along, if not get ol' Alley to give you a hand.

Is this the same bike that used to have the red tank?

I remember seeing the Dynamite John's Revenge somewhere. Whatever happened to the bike that had the big *** sword for a shifter?
