Need help with V2K exhaust gaskets..please

I purchased a new '07 V2K two months ago at a screamin deal. I received my Hard Krome 2 into 1 Sideburners today. After checking with my local metric bike dealer, they can order the gaskets @ 11.75 EACH

NO WAY. Can anyone tell me if the Harley Screamin Eagle exhaust gaskets part # 17048-98 will work with the V2K? If not, how about the OEM gaskets at a decent price. Thanks in advance..........Oh yeah, what an awesome bike.........STEVE

I have read those are thinner. People have used them but why take the chance Would s@cK if after a 1000 miles or so they blew out. I used OEM and have had no issues after changing mine.

Nothing cheap with these things.

Thanks guys for the help...I read the cruiser section everyday to learn something new. I know quite a few have used the HD gaskets on the 1600's and prefer them. Anyone know if they will work with the V2K? I can get those now and have to wait on OEM......Ya'll know what its like to have new pipes staring at you, calling your name and you cant install them !!!!!!!!!

Ok youre putting on an awesome expensive pipe set up, and worried about a couple gaskets for 20 bucks. See i always have a spare set in my "ditty bag" just in case. When I use them, I replace them so the spares are always available.

You can buy them from the dealer at 11.75 and go riding, or you can save 5-10 bucks and wait a week....
