About LinkBacksNeed to top off the fluid on the 800A. Misplaced the manual and do not know what fluid is acceptable to use in there.
Anybody know offhand what i could use.

Dot 4
The service manual recommends DOT 4. A caution is also not to mix different manufacturers' fluids as there could be a compatability issue that may affect seals, boiling point, etc. For the minute amount in the system, I would flush the system with new fluid to be sure.
I purchased some Dot 4 at Auto Zone.
THe brake lever felt a little spongy after i topped it off so i bled it and noticed the fluid was extremely black. So this am i am going to flush the old stuff out this AM.
