Default Imagine...2005 Meanie w/Dual Headlights (Like Triumph Speed Triple)

I'm IT-skilled but admittedly mechanically unskilled and untalented , but after watching (again) the Long Way Round series starring Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman, I was thinking to myself how bad @$$ a Meanie with dual headlights - like the Triumph Speed Triple - would look, and secondly, whether it is or would be a possibility to implement.

Thoughts on implementation? Anyone done something along these lines?

Thanks,
TMac

I saw a guy around here who did this. The twin lights looks really sharp but didn't have the chance to look how they were mounted.

Custom World sells a kit for the 1500. You can find them at scootworks

ryanmross - Dude, you're my HERO! Did your order the kit from Custom World as previously recommended, and if so, how is it mounted.

Damn it looks nice

P.S. - I travel frequently to Buffalo Grove and would be happy to pitch in on your beer collection to meet personally / discuss 2-headlight configuration...

Wow ... That does look good. When I first read the post, I didn't think it would, but looking at the picture from ryanmross, it looks good. However, above the picture it says..."Artistic rendering:" does that mean the picture was photoshoped? I hope not, it looks darn good...

Please keep us posted on your discussions...

Before I decided to trade in my Meanie I had planned on installing a new Dual Johnny five headlight setup from Joker Machine . Here's a pic.

I'll take you up on the beers, then we can sit in front of my computer..
It was Photoshopped.. it's what I do..

But the original comment was to imagine it.. I thought I would help out there..

The headlights are right from this image you posted:

I added a MS and some color.

Also.. the thing hangin from my brake is a Rider Bell.. I hear it keeps away the evil gremlins trying to do me harm.. I am not sure if it a Harley Myth.. but my Father is a Harley guy.. he sent them to me.

Enjoy!

On the Red Lodge Trip, Woodchucks800's 800 was having issues with fuel flow akin to a vapor lock situation. I handed out ride bells at the party to all those who attended on their bikes and according to Woody, one he placed the bell upon his bike, the situation ended.

Tho, not a supersticious person, I believe they work.

however you would want to wire it. i would imagine that both lights have a dual filament bulb which would mean you would have two low and two high.

Ryan, ya do good work on Photoshop. Now I'm wondering what my '05 Nomad would look like. Naw, better forget that idea. I'm thinking HD fairing and 2 lights won't fit. LOL

Thumbs up

I like the single Marauder headlight myself but to each his own. Good job on the photo Ryan.
