I was told the 1500 Classic model with a carburetor handles better than the Classic Fi model. Their specs show that both have a 32 degree Rake, but the Trail on the carb model is 4.8" and the Fi is 6.4", but not sure if this makes a huge difference.
Has anyone had the opportunity to ride both the 1500 Fi Classic and the 1500 Carb Classic? The Drifter chassis also has the same Trail specs as the Classic Fi, so I'm sure this could be used for comparison instead of the Classic Fi. Thanks for the help. |

have not rode the fi model mark-but rode the carbed several times
the fi bike is about 50lb heavier than the carbed but i would'nt think handling differences would be all that different - maybe the fi would be a little more stable at hiway speed with the extra weight-but at a crawl prolly not substantial-i'd try to ride both if your concerned about it
