Question about handlebars

I have the OEM handlebars on my 1500 Classic. One thing I don't like about them is that my knuckles are not perpendicular to the road. Instead they are roughly 45 degrees, which kind of pins my elbows to my sides & puts my wrists at a funny angle.

Anyone know of bars that are similar in style to OEM but would have my hands at a 90 angle to the road?

Can you tell what I'm talking about from the image?

I want the same style but would like my hands to be on the bars with all 8 knuckles facing the road ahead instead of "outward" towards the side of the road.

So you are wanting a bar with less pull back ?

Have you checked Cruiser Customizing? They show a lot of bars to choose from.

Negative. I want just as much pullback. I just want the part the grip goes on to be at more of a 90 degree angle.

This is how my current bars (OEM) have my hands positioned.



This is how I would like them positioned (completely on the grip of course).



Still want the same look & pullback of the OEM bars...just don't want my knuckles pointed towards the ditch & my elbows pinched at my sides.

I guess maybe a better way to describe it is I want the butts of the grips pointed more towards the ditch...like drag bars. But I don't want drag bars. I want a similar design to the OEM.

I sat on a friend's Yamaha 1900 Stratoliner and that renewed my interest in finding new bars. They were perfect!

I've been looking online for the dimensions but can't find them.
