For those of you that replace your own brake pads. What brand do you purchase and from which vendors? It's time to replace my brake pads and I was just curious if anyone has used any non Kawasaki OEM pads and what your experience is with them? Better, worse, less brake dust on the rear wheel?

You get what you pay for. I found a set on eBay that had front and rear for around 40 bucks. Rear only lasted about 2000 miles. Went back to the dealer.

You definitely get what you pay for. Don't go anything less than Kawasaki OEM (IMO). Order from a dealer. They will suggest the OEM and maybe offer you a better pad if available.

I went with EBC organic pads, slightly more wear than sintered but less wear on the rotors. That's what my mechanic advised me (organic vs. sintered part) and everybody recommended EBC and so far I'm very pleased. Buddy of mine just installed Brembo on his Classic and can't get enough words of praise for them. Organic, of course.
