Cobra Freeway Bars (Meanstreaks)

Is there anyone else out there that has put Cobra Freeway Bars on a Meanstreak? I put some on today on my 2003, and come to find out that my Mapam forward controls wouldn't work without hitting the bar. Does anyone know of any forward controls that would work with this bar? I'm not a big fan on the stockers (even though I had to go back to them). All information would be appreciated.

I also wonder if the Thunder Tornado would hit the guard bars.

Does anyone on here have Jardine Forward controls on their meanie? I looked at some of those today and it looked like those controls brought the pegs up higher than the stock location and out more in front. I'm kind of looking for something like this that will not conflict with the bottom of my Cobra freeway bar when I hit the brake or shift gears. The bar connects with the front bottom bolt of the controls and doesn't allow for the usage of the Mapam forward controls I have so I had to go back to the stockers. Somebody please help.
