Default V2K Thunder Air Kit Installation - Help

Hello all. I just got my Thunder Hurricane Air Kit for my V2K. I have my new HK pipes and PCIII also. I have some questions about the installation of the Thunder Air Filter. Maybe some of you have installed one. I have asked Thunder and they told me to take it to the dealer, to have it installed. They said the tank would have to be loosened and moved over. Have any of you ever had to move your tanks in order to do this? I would like to try it on my own and save some bucks though. It can't be that hard. It says to place the 3/8" red plug in the top fresh air hose, then tuck up under the tank. Is this the same hose that most people put the marble in? Also, is the crank case vent tube easy to identify? Where is it located? I have a small filter provided for that. Will things pretty much fall into place once I get it apart? If you know of any diagrams or pictures of the process on the net, please let me know. I found Thunder's instructions a little confusing.

Thanks so much.

go to ronayers.com they have real good microfish (sp) online that may make more sense...

check your manual, I think there are directions on how to remove the tank..

I installed the Thunder tornado and PCIII on my Mean Streak. I removed the tank without much issue and the included instructions were very detailed. My installation wnet off without a hitch. I don't know how much the V2K installation would differ, but it's worth doing yourself. (besides, if you do it yourself you learn a bit more about the workings of your bike)

The crankcase breather for my 1600 was located on the front cylinder at the front right side (next to the reed valve).
When I did my hypercharger install, I was confused as well - I took 2 days to do it and referenced Gadet's site, the vendor, and any other site I could find <g>.
If you put coasters on (not sure if they have them for the V2k however) you will remove most of the EPA hoses and it might make the install go a bit easy- the reed values and air canister tripped me up... (I had a CA bike and did not even know it)....
