I have worked in dealerships since 1980, except for a few years inbetween, but I love it, it is no longer a low tech job, things have changed so much with the technology that the autos and trucks have now, It is very rewarding and challenging!!!

I used the same Mr. Gasket air cleaners you did and also got rid of the ics solenoids. The fortunate thing for me was I got to ride it for about a week after the mod. You will be impressed!! The best mod for the money IMHO. I don't know about that bow tie flag since I drive a Tundra. Just kidding. To each his own. Pickups & bikes rule.

Skip,

what is your setup as in, do you have a power commander or CobraFI2000, or something along those lines to increase fuel also?

I soldered in a 1000 ohm resistor and it seemed to do the trick. I still have to pull my plugs for a color check but the bike sure responds well and runs normal. A guy can always go for the PClll or similar later if it is that much of an improvement which I doubt. I know you'll be pleased which ever way you fix the fuel set up. It just seems like alot of money to spend when a resistor does essentially the same job.

Significant! I really pulled well before, now it runs like a Striped A** Ape. A couple of months ago, on the Washington Forum Ride, when I cam sailing past you I ticked up to fourth as I came by at over 90. The top end is significantly higher now. I backed of the throttle in 5th at over 115, ans still had pull...

Need to have it dynoed this spring to get the real numbers...
