Default In Search of the Caddman

Well,

I started out looking at the skies, I saw blue holes in the clouds, decided I'd at least try to ride to the gas station and take it from there. by the time I got dressed and put my boots on...RAIN.

What am I gonna do? I went looking for a pair of 9x2 filter and cover kits to do the Caddman Air Intake.

first stop - Shucks or Als Auto, I keep forgetting, they had the Spectre brand 9x2 but wanted $29.99 for them, No thanks. I can get them online for $15.99.

second stop - GI Joes, they had the exact same Spectre 9x2 for $14.95 but only had 1, I want both or none.

third stop - NAPA, they had the Mr. Gasket 9x2 #1487 for $17.87 but only had one.

Well, i'm not gonna be doing the mod today, The guy at GI Joes says there is a truck coming tomorrow, might have another kit then.

Now get this, as i sit here typing this, i look out the window and the house across the street is bathed in sunlight, the weather is taunting me.

Just act like you don't want to ride and maybe the sun will pop out.

I couldn't find anywhere else to buy the 2 filters other than Schucks Auto here so got them. When I don't have 5 motorcycles sitting in my garage and can get the 1500 up on the lift I'll add the cadmann mod to the list of things to do.

They are available in different locations but either their too pricey or dont' have the quantity. I'll get the pieces I need this week, in the meantime, I could go make supper?

Dave, do both sides and just put the original cover back on the left side untill they get the other one in, remember it only will use the right filter anyway, and then you could of been out riding!!!!!
