So you are saying you want a rest a backrest behind the driver's seat I don't think you could do it on your stock seat I have a 99 Vulcan Classic with a stock seat and it doesn't look like there's a way to do it

Since the stock seat is a one-piece driver/pillion seat, I don't see how a driver backrest could be added. You might have to look at getting a 3rd party seat w/ backrest like a Mustang solo seat.

There appears to be couple of ways either mustang vintage seat but costs nearly 700 quid or there are back rests that fit onto the frame then with a little modification will fit with stock seat so may look at that option thanks for all your feedback tho
