Zuzuman: I lived in Glen Burnie and Severn, Md for about 30 years before I retired in '90 and moved back to N.C. Especially liked your part of the state and eastern shore areas. Often wished I had stayed. Would be nice if you could make this NC bike a Marylander. Come on down and get it. Might even arrange a delivery.

Welp - the fender on the bike is all primed, painted and clearcoated... now to rip off the masking tape and have a look at it.

ill bet it came out like crap, but its better then buying a new fender and pin striping for 500+ bux

Hi gang... was wondering how much a front disc rotor costs for the 800 drifter...

mine has little grooves in it and makes a strange sound when moving slowly after a hard stop. I got the front wheel off because of the fender anyway -

Its the bottom of the front fender that was damamged - so i "tried" to fix it

Im still working on my fender, its coming out a lot better - poictures will be in a week or so

anyway

I upgraded the exhaust, and air intake.... anybody need any stock stuff including air intake, backing plate, hoses, exhaust? Will seel cheap

OK gang... I didnt install my saddle bags yet and for xmas i was going to ask for a corbin seat...

has anybody got this combination... i read on corbins site that it wont work... thats not really what i want to hear...

any info >??>

my dad had a corbin seat on his concours. that thing was sooo comfy. i could ride that bike all day and fell like i never even got on it after riding. it was stiffer then the stock seat and sat kida lower, but none the less, it was an awesome seat. i looked at one for my drifter, but i couldnt justify spending that much on a seat when i could find a stock solo seat on ebay for half the price...which is what i eneded up buying. but all in all corbin = A+. im sure you'd be very happy with it just like alot of the people who already do.

I just got my 2006 Drifter 800 in December and all I got was a thank you. It did not come with any sort of certificate nor key ring nor video. Now I feel jipped.

All I got was the owners manual. No video or any of this other stuff.

Thanks zuzuman - i think ill get the corbin dual seat and try to make the saddle bags work - i got some custom bike guys that can do it im sure...

I know i want to keep the bike so i mine as well make it comfy!

def. black. ive seen the tan stuff and to be honest, i dont think it looks that good. since these came with the black seats, why not keep it black like everything elase? but thats just me. its your bike. but i'll take a black and tan any day.

yeah i like black seats too... ill def be going with that...

I have to ask corbin what they do with saddle bags etc...

i think they only do seats...but i could be wrong. if you can get one with the studs, they make a great accent for the seat.
