it came off a drifter 800 year 2000 so yes it will fit...

I will not ship to italy unless you handle the shipping... I can deliver to whatever shipping facility of your choice but i have shipped things overseas before and it is a pain in the rear...

so if you handle the shipping to italy i will handle the shipping to the USA

i will need to get 500 USD for the seat and backrest not including shipping to the facility of your choice

the seat looks very much like this

if you check the price on the website new... it goes like this... 429 for the seat... and 229 for the backrest...

added up thats 658

so i was saving you 150, but you push a hard bargin... $400 USD and its yours

you figure out shipping...

I dont know the EURO conversions and such

well, i dropped off the bike at the shop today. i ordered the new clutch diaphragm spring yesterday and hopefully it'll be done in a week or 2. i wont be home to ride it anyway. i rode yesterday, last night, even though it was between 25-30 degrees and this morning to drop it off.

Winter has closed in on Colorado so unless something extraordinary happens, my riding days are being cut down to 1-3 days a month. One thing I want to do in this off season is see if I can get the Kawasaki Light Bar to work with the Nat Cycle Wide Beaded shield I have. I figure the Nat Cycle bar would work but the Kawi Bar has it beat in the looks dept. (made for the Bike, natch')

its a 2003 Harley-Davidson Screamin' Eagle Softail Deuce. my dad's one friend has 3 harleys and i had ridden his roadking before and really enjoyed it, but not as much as this bike. he's shown it a few times and won trophys with it. i felt really bad yesterday when we were riding up through the mountains and i had it over far enough and scrapped the exhaust pipe. then we got caught in the rain. but it was still fun. that thing has some serious power too. i out ran them and had to wait in the next town for them to catch up haha.

Zuzuman,
One look at that Deuce and I can see why you'd be considering a switch. What a gorgeous ride. I've been thinking of also making a switch, but the overheating issues (BIG issue here in FL) concern me.
A question; between the two HDs you rode, can you tell any difference between the fat & the thin front tire?
Thanx,
DD

on the deuce, yes. but on the roadking and the ultra classic, no because its what im used to on my drifter. i felt more in control on the deuce though. i had it over far enough to drag those pipes. id never put a RK or the UC over that far. i thought the smaller tire would have a rougher ride, but i didnt notice it. i had a 600 honda shadow before the drifter and it had the small front tire. i never minded it. the new harley's you can get water cooled, so that might be the way to go. ive noticed how hot they get and thats one thing i couldnt stand.

ETA: i called the shop today and canceled the order for the stock spring for my clutch. they were able to order the heavy duty barnett mt25 one for me.

can anyone help with aftermarket pipes? I want louder pipes for my 2006 drifter 800. My husband is searching high and low for me. The problem that I'm having is that I like the look of the 2 to 1 and the fishtail tip. Any suggestions? Is there any way to make it louder without a new exhaust?

Ride it, it gets louder and throatier the more miles you put on it. If no, H&K makes Pipes for it but they are a 2 into 2 design. Good Luck, enjoy your Drifter.

I have heard of people who have removed the baffle from the muffler and it works for making it louder but not deeper.

i have the sampson warlord slasher pipes on my 1500. they're really loud too. i cant even ride it with the baffles out. its got a really deep throathy sound to it too.

also, i got my bike back today with the new clutch plate in it. man, what a huge difference. you guys with the 1500's, if you havent already replaced the diaphragm spring, you'll have to eventually and i highly recommend the barnett mt25. ive never had so much power with that bike. extremely responsive....kinda like a brand new bike with 20k miles on it.
