sure has been quiet in here the last few weeks. anyone doin any mods this winter? the clutch was the only thing i really wanted to do.

also, does anyone have one of those rear fender bibs for their drifter? im looking for one to cover up some fender damage until i can get it fixed.

i gots one, u can get em thru J&P cycles. they come plain or studded. about $30

i lost my 1st bib by using 2 pieces of velcro, 1 in the front n 1 in the back so on my next bib i used the screw up front n velcro on the back. theres a lil pocket under the front of the bib that the screw catches on to, a slip fit. they have some kind of material under the leather of the bib that doesn't scratch yer fender. they come in very handy when road tripping.

Fender Bibs for Kawasaki - Chilhowee Motorcycle Leather

Ordered mine in 2006.....back then you didn't have to measure a length, just indicate it was for an 800 Drifter. Got curious so I went into the garage to measure...25 inches. Goes from the license plate mount to way under the seat.

74 Degrees 2mi an hr wind What a day for a ride

Only went for 'bout 150 mi cause of honey do crap but what a nice feeLing.

It has been a few weeks due to the 30 mi an hr winds,,,DONT LIKE THE

CROSS WINDS


Hate that you guys up North have to deal with hibernation

Anyone have a solo seat for my 1999Drifter 1500 ?

well, it looks like im going on a road trip in july. we're heading to flagstaff AZ for a family reunion and since airfare is extremely outrageous right now, we're gona drive out. im taking my bike. 2100 mles one way from MD to AZ. gona take the trailer just in case, but im gona try it. atleast one way.

will any two-up seat fit either the 800 or the 1500 drifter, or ar they different sizes for each?

i know the solo seat is. i bought on ebay for my 1500 and its made for the 800, but i made it work.

I just bought a 2001 800 also, and can't wait to get it to Texas from up north. Already started buying extras. (SCARING MY WIFE)
