First off I would like to say hi to everyone.
I just bought a 2005 vulcan 800B and driving it home today I noticed the bike surging a bit. When I got home and shut it off I could hear the gas cap whistling. First thing that came to mind from reading through post on this site was vapor lock. My question is, does anyone make a aftermarket gas cap that has better ventalation, or could someone post some pics of what needs to be drilled out on the cap? Last thing I want to worry about is the bike stalling out while going around a corner or while being tailgated by a cager, especially on a brand new bike. Thanks in advance. |
