Somebody here should be able to tell me what model Vulcan these F&S Passenger Floorboards would fit on. They were listed on Ebay as fitting the Vulcan 800 A & B, 800 Drifter. The Kawasaki part number in the listing was also the correct part number for my 800B Vulcan. So...I bid and won them for a decent price. That was in early February but since my bike is covered on a lift in the garage I didn't get around to trying to mount them till yesterday. You guessed it...these will not fit the 800. The bolts on these boards run parallel to the ground when mounted on a bike, for the 800 the floorboard bolts would have to be perpendicular to the ground. So the Ebay listing was completely in-correct and yes, I have emailed the seller but have had no response yet. He has a good rating so I hope I don't get the runaround about this. Should have gone to the dealer before bidding to at least look at the correct floorboards my bike needs.

Sorry to hear that those boards do not fit your bike. I shopped for a very long time including Ebay for pair of passenger boards for my classic without success. I found the dealer F&S boards to be way out of line price wise. I finally decided on a pair of chrome Jardine boards which I think look fantastic and are every bit as good as the F&S except with a much lower price. I hope the seller refunds you the cash!

He better refund the money, since clearly they were advertised falsely as fitting the Vulcan 800's. I don't believe it was intentional though. I think he got them from somewhere else and was probably told what part number they were and what models they fit.

No problem getting the money back as he emailed me yesterday but he still is quite sure they will fit my 800. I don't know how one person can say they will fit and one person knows they won't. Hec, I went to the dealer to see and atlhough they look identical its just the placement of the holes for the bolt. One runs vertical, the other horizontal so there is no way to make 'em fit.
