Anyone with a 1995 Vulcan EN500? Can you help me out?

Hey, I'm new to the bike scene, looking to buy a friend's bike. He's got a 95 Vulcan EN500. Only problem is he layed it down a while back, the bike and forks are all straight, just alot of stuff from the headlight and gauges all got broken, he replaced the handle bar and keeps trying to tell me to just get aftermarket universal parts to get her running again. But I wanna go all back to original. I found a place out in California that I can get all the parts for at good prices but I wanna know exactly what I need and make sure he doesnt forget to tell me anything. So if anyone out there has a pretty stock 95 or around then vulcan EN500, would you be willing to take some detailed pix all around of your bike especially near the front at all angles so I can compare it to this bike to see what I need?
