Hey all!
I just lucked out & picked up a 1977 KZ650 with only 14k original miles on it (only paid $180 for it!). It's in great shape body wise & motor wise. The left side has seen the pavement one time but no big deal. Except it's missing the left front & left back turn signals. I've been looking high & low for some aftermarket ones. Shoot, I'm willing to buy a whole set if I need to. Checked a couple of my local bike shops. Brand new we're looking at over $120 A PIECE!! They have alternatives for about $26 apiece which isn't too bad but was hoping to go even lower if I could. Ebay is bone dry on turn signals for this bike. I'm not looking to go original on it. I just want to get 4 signals on it so I can get it on the road. I've read a little bit about some LED turn signals. I may go that route if someone could point me in the right direction. If someone could please nudge me into the right direction with links & what not I would be greatly in your debt. Either way thanks for being here! I plan on visiting this link quite often now! |

I think the turn signals were the same on the 650's as they were on the 900/1000's
This is more or less in your price range if you want to stick with a stock look. The stems are sold seperately. http://www.redlinecycle.com/Turn%20Signals.html or Send Jeff at Z1enterprises an e-mail, he might have another option. http://www.z1enterprises.com/ or dig through the links in the parts source thread in the vintage section. Thats the best I can do for ya brother. LED stuff, theres a few members that have gone that way. try doing a search on here, that might turn up something. |

Hi Cowski and welcome to the forum. Sounds like you got one heck of a deal - bikes with that low mileage often sell for $1,000 or more, and properly maintained and ridden it should have 60,000 to 100,000 miles left in it.

Thanks for the reply.....
I'm at work now but I will post you a picture of the remaining 2 turn signals I have. They are all 1 unit much like the units in the 2nd picture. It tends to lead me to believe they've been changed once before. Plus the rear signal was red & not amber. |
