Default 1600 Classic accessories???

I recently purchased an 05 1600 classic. As I begin looking for accessories for my ride, I find that there are not many accessories, at least kawasaki brand, for the 1600 classic. I see alot for the 1500 classic/FI.
I have already purchased the Fire and Ice large shield. Love it!
However now I am looking to get a backrest and rack, as well as some bags.
Kawasaki does have a backrest for the 1600 classic, however no rack. Where would I find a rack for my 1600 classic?

Thanks

Scootworks has alot of great accessories http://209.15.36.61/swcart/shop.cgi/...123420623.2501

Off course buying Fire and steel accoriess from Beartooth Kawasaki who owns this board. If you call them you get I think 10 or 15% off retail price if you let them know you're a member of this board.

Also there is Custom World Int'l were my backrest is from

I also have a 2005 Classic 1600. I put the Cobra backrest and rack on my bike as they have rack that fits the application, unlike the Fire and Steel. If interested I have some new parts for sale for this bike that are currently listed on eBay. Have the standard backrest and the Cobra saddlebag supports.

I have found the same thing after buying a 03 1600 classic, I have found that if you keep looking in all the sites they all have a little of this and a little of that and you can find some nice stuff just not all on web sight. What are you looking for. I have spent all winter looking all over the interent for stuff and kind of know who makes what.

Thanks all.... I am looking for a backrest that also has the option to mount a luggage rack on it, as well as some bags.

Very nice we'll have to try and get together for a poker run or a short ride. I live in Kannapolis.

Default Fire and steel backrest

[quote=ontwowheels]I have the Kawasaki passanger back rest and pad on mine...had big time problems finding a luggage rack that would fit perfectly....Jardine now makes one. I got it at curisercustomizing....I like it very much.

Hey ontwowheels....
I have just recently purchased the Kawasaki Fire and Steel backrest for my 1600 classic. I am happy with the looks and all, however, the first time my wife rode with me after installing it, she said it vibrated alot. At first I dismissed her comments and then after a couple of days, I noticed that I could feel it causing vibration even from my seat when nobody was riding with me. Have you noticed that your backrest acts the same way?

Thanks

Sorry....just saw your question. I bought my bike, an 04 1600 used and the Kawi passanger back rest was already on. I am not sure if it vibrates, I have never sat back there... My 13 year old daughter has ridden with me quite a bit, she hasn't mentioned it.
