Try Tourmaster. I have just the barrel bag and it looks really good. For more storage, the two pieces might do.

does anyone know if the low mapam sissy bar will work with a T-bag, or do you have to get the taller mapam sissy bar??

I have the Mapam Standard sissy bar plus rack. I had the Cobra Mini prior to, which is probably close the same bag-toting capability as the Low Mapam. Unfortunately, my opinion to you is that you're not going to secure a bag very well to any low sissy bar. The Mapam Standard is still relatively small compared to most regular sized sissy bars, but high enough to secure bag very well.

Here's the mapam standard with the luggage rack:

And here's the cobra mini:

Default Great site and many thanks

I just bought a 2003 Meanie, after many years of riding dirt bikes and as adult I just sold my Honda CBR600F4i and thought It's time to grow up at 35.

I've been researching for days now on what to buy regarding, back rests, luggage bags, etc.

The bike came with with a bigger windshield, willie max leather saddles, and it looked to classic. Since then I've taken this stuff off and thought of using the windshield for longer trips. I dont like the Willie Max leather bags as it takes to much room for my GF where she puts her feet.

Sleekstreet many thanks to your website and helping me see what a true sport cruiser can look like! If you dont mind me using your references to get my bike looking somewhat like that.

Does a sissy bar luggage bag allow enough for a weekend getaway for 2 people? If not, could you recommend some luggage bags that will fit nicely and also make it look sporty. (Sorry havent completely accepted that I have a cruiser.)

Sleekstreet I am also looking at getting the Kawi aftermarket seat, how do you like it as well as your gf/wife?

Definitely. I have a T-Bag for weekend trips. We pack for two nights for two people with no problem. You must have a luggage rack and large enough sissy bar to hang it and support it, however. That's the only downside. I think the mapam-restyling standard sissy was a decent compromise. It's big enough that it a) allows for luggage and b) makes it far more comfortable for the wife, but at the same time it's not TOO big, you know. I'd prefer the sporty look of the Cobra Mini, or even no sissy at all, but I ride with my wife quite frequenty, so ... it just stays on.

I'd suggest checking out the sissy bar bags at CruiserCustomizing.com. That site is my best friend.

I love it. It was an absolute MUST for riding with the wife. The stock seat hurts like a mutha for the rider. Just try sitting on it once, not even moving, you'll go buy a new seat for your GF immediately. It also has the added benefit of making the sissy bar "look" smaller. Because the passenger seat is thicker, there is less gap between the seat and the sissy bar pad, so it "looks" like a shorter sissy bar.

Again, I'd probably take both off if I was single. I love the way some forum members have really made the Mean Streaks "Mean". I just ride so much with 2 people that it's just easier to have them on 24-7.
