Default headlight bulbs

What's a good place to get high intensity headlight bulbs. My nomads head light sucks on dims. I want to get a brighter high intensity bulb.

Also has anyone ever used the ultra violet bulbs from Luminics? Wonder if they actually are more intense then the factory bulb.

But these are the ones that really caught my eye. Green headlight for a green bike, I think that would look sweet!!!! But my question is are they any good for visibility? Or are they just for looks. I think they would look cool if there light is intense enough.

I use the PIAA Extreme White Plus in everything I own. Be sure to check local regulations before you buy.

Car Toys carries them in the store. You can get them from a ton of places on line. They have a very white light.

To be sure, the green would probably look pretty cool with your bike. However, you may be dealing with a case of form over function here. Also, I wonder if these bulbs draw more wattage than the stock bulb. The nice thing about the PIAA Extremes is that they only draw 55 watts and they are second to none for visibility. I just installed one and cannot believe the difference.

What do we use (800's) for a headlight bulb, an H3, right? Do those PIAA Extreme White Plus come in only one wattage?

Yes, just get the right style and you are set. I think 800's are either a H3 or H4 cant remember.

What makes them seem brighter is the color of light they produce very white light. I wont have anything else in my stuff.

Yeah the green is out of the question for me, I think they would look cool, but that's about it. It's high intense white for this kid.

One more thing I've been trying out is running the bright beam until I get birght lighted back. There are so many cars running Xenon that most people don't care if you have a bright head light and it make a huge differance in what you can see and how fast they can see you. I.ve been told to run em on bright til someone asked you to turn em off and I'm liking th results..

With the stock light on my 800, I always ran with high beams on because the bulb was so weak. I'd rather people be annoyed than not see me. With the ultra white, I think the highbeam is a little overkill. I don't want to blind em'.
