Just got some SLANT saddlebags and Easy Brackets to go on my 2002 Classic Fi. Easy Brackets - no problem.
Here is the dumb-a** question. Which way does the slant go? Neither way looks "right" to me. Assume you are looking at the right side of the bike and hold a bag up to the bike. Should the slant run down the back - following the line of the rear fender or slant towards the front? I'm thinking it runs back and my "assistant" thinks it should run to the front. Help this poor newbie figure it out! Post a picture or flat out tell me. Its raining or I'd be tempted to ride out and find a bike on the street with slant bags!! Thanks! ![]() |

Thanks - that's what I thought but seeing how my assistant is my wife, and rather than disagree over it, thought I'd get another opinion!
I do like the slants - thought long and hard about those versus just straight bags, and decided it seemed to look better on other bikes. I just couldn't remember how the darn slant ran! Thanks for your help. |
