Default 900 vs. 800

Have any of you 800 owners upgraded to the 900? I just wondered how they compared in ride, comfort, power, etc?

By the way, thanks so much for the kind responses I received after posting about my uncle's death about two weeks ago (A Country Ride).

I checked out the 900 but I can't say it made me reach for my wallet. The belt drive is nice, but otherwise I prefer my 800. That rear brake pedal is just about the most ridiculous thing I've seen on a bike. Could they have made it any bigger? It's like they pulled it out of an old Chevy truck.

I think that most 800 owners would not consider the 900 much of an upgrade and would instead move up to something more substantive. I do believe that most 1st time bike buyers may find the 900 attractive.

I'm not considering upgrading to either bike but the 800 is a much better value at $1000 less.

If they put a 21 inch tire on the front, and a carb on the intake, I might consider the 900.
