Hello Guys, I need a little help with my clutch on a 1998 1500 Classic 23,000 miles. Last week I got just a little clutch slip while passing a car. Mech said clutch spring should fix it. I installed a new spring & that stopped the slip...
but now I have an annoying vibration (sound) from the clutch basket that comes & goes at, say 3000 rpm's (no gauge).
I first thought the 27mm nut holding the basket on came loose. That's what it sounded like. I tore it down again & it was tight & all friction plates still look good.
Every gear produces the same sound vibration just before shifting.
Anyone have this problem before?
