Hi guys, I am new to this forum. I currently ride a 2002 Suz Volusia 800. It is a really nice bike but now have the chance to buy a 2000 Vulcan Classic 1500 (NOT FI). It has only 2300 miles and is in excellent condition. I can purchase for $4500. Is this a good deal? Any problems with this bike. Let me know your opinion good or bad on this bike. My wife rides with me alot. I appreciate your imput. Thanks, Randy

Well, yes!
throw price estimates out the window. this is a steal. I ride a 2004 1500 Classic and ride the living beezewax out of it. it will deliver sound performance over the long haul and get you around town to pay the bills. it will be heavier than your 800 but the weight is low and balanced well. I would look at the tires and get a good look inside the tank, when was it last run? was it stored the right way? Your looking at a 7 yr old bike bascially just broken in. yummy

that sounds like a good deal to me. as far as i know they solved all the stop you dead problems by 2000. you can go to the kawasaki site and look for recalls. good hunting.
