Default Need Help: Bolt Size for MAPAM Sissy Bar and Rack for MS

I recently received the MAPAM standard sissy bar and luggage rack for my Mean Streak. It comes in 4 pieces -- 2 mounting brackets, the sissy bar and pad, and the luggage rack. Although the mounting hardware to install the brackets to the bike were included, to my dissappointment, no hardware came to install the sissy bar to the bracket, nor to install the luggage rack. I've tried to contact the seller via email and online chat, but no luck so far in receiving a reply (4 hrs on the chat after the guy wrote I'll be right back). I'm willing to go buy the button type hex bolts (and the washers and nuts), except that I have no idea what size(s) they should be. Since the bolts that did come were M6X30 and M6X40, I'm assuming that the rest of the required bolts are the same diameter, but different lengths. If anyone out there could tell me the length of the bolts (4 for mounting the sissy bar, and 4 for mounting the rack), I sure would apprecaite it.

Thanks much.

I've had the same setup for about a year but I don't remember the bolt lengths. They were vacuum sealed with the sissy bar though. Anyway, the nuts are "nylon lock" type nuts. When I get home tonight I'll measure mine & get back to you.

Just take the 6mm bolts that you have an use them as a test. If they are the right length then buy the same size, if you need shorter/longer then buy shorter/longer.

I just checked mine. The eight you need are all the same size & length. M6 diameter and about 9/16" long (15mm).

Grandpawmoses -- Thank you for your help on this and the effort you made to measure the bolts for me. It is very much appreciated.
