PIPER seat idea for 900

im convinced that PIPER seats has a good rep, makes a quality product and saves you money and you can customize your seat to a degree.

i got a quote of less than 300 bucks for a seat for my LT -built to my/passenger body wieght -inseam-needs and wants. ( vulcan emblem on seat, studs ect... built to "keep my butt from going numb") with a two week PLS+????? turnaround.
the downside to me is: two weeks can easily turn into 4 to 6 weeks turn around IMO. you have to send your seat in for the frame to be used for this build which means no seat-no ride. what if i dont like it or need to have it modified ?? back to the 2 to 4 to 6 weeks again.

my idea is this. if a few guys go with a mustang or corbin maybe we could aquire a seat or two to use as a core or loaner even til the piper seat shows up???? we could just keep rotating the seat(s) around the forum as needed?? does this make sense or too much trouble????????

Sounds like a good idea.....who's bought a Corbin already? I'm tired of numb butt syndrome!!!!

Sounds like a great idea to me. It would be better still if Piper could just use one seat and than make one of there own to use as the frame. Or did you mean that they use your seat to make the new one so that you only end up with one...theres ?
