    Question Wind shield too high

    Hi All
I was wondering if the factory wind shield can be cut down? The wind shield is just too high and it is hard to see when it is raining. The screen is at its lowest point now.

    Thanks Seumas

I've tried to cut lexan/plexiglass and it ain't easy. Aside from all those plastic boogers flying all over he!! and half of Georgia, the stuff will splinter, crack and run in a heartbeat.

IMHO, I'd rather have a windshield that is too high than one that is too short-

Heres a web site that will show you step by step how to do it.
    http://www.motorcyclecruiser.com/tec...ve_windshield/

My husband cut his down this past week-end. Easy to do and looks great.
He likes looking over the windshield.
    Hope this helps,
    Sue

Thanks for the info and the links. I don't think that this is something that I can tackle my self. I think that I will print the pics from the link and take it to one of the auto glass shops and see if they will do it.
    Thanks again for the info

A friend of mine took his to a local glass installing company and they cut 2" of the top. Looks the same as it did before but shorter. He said they had templates made up so it must be a common thing?
