Default 100% fits the 900

Can we start a list of parts that will "100%" fit the 900.

"NO" assumptions please and "NO" it should work.

For a 100% fact;

Rear master cylinder cover(chrome) on the 06 Mean streak will fit.
Rear tail light is the same.
Saddlebags for the RoadStar 1100 fit perfect.

I know there are more but I cannot be 100% sure they will bolt on.

well tried to order a cowl visor for a 900 and a rear master cover for thye 1600 thru BTK but washed out on both. the 900 showed no availability and on the mc cover they could not confirm the cover listed was chrome for the 1600 meanie. cant win

ps-when i gave them the # for the cowl visor it crossed to a 1600 so i may try the aftermarket using that logic

US SaddleBags Mounting system for their bags is a 100% guaranteed to fit (but only on the 900 Classic... Probably will not fit on the 900 LT unless you decided you didn't like the bags that came with the bike).

Ghost Brackets ADJ-104, but you gotta get a metal file to extend the slot so the brackets will be wide enough. I know that doesn't quite fit the criteria of this thread, but it's really very easy to make them fit.

Oh yeah, and you gotta find some bolts that are 40mm long instead of the ones that are supplied which are 55mm long.

Cheers!

Pooker, What a good idea. I used iso grips #6240, they dont have the throttle body, just remove the old grips and install the new ones. No need for taking apart the throttle side.

Thanks to Chainsaw, He used Kuryakyn Passenger floor boards (#H49-0335) and peg adapters (#49-2642) from Dennis Kirk. You can do a search and see them, he has very good pics of them.

Don't see why not. I've had Carolina throw over bags that I'm going to use. As long as they are not soft bags, which I believe there not, should work. In my case, I'll cut the throw over section off, and mount the brackets to the bags. Spoke to a guy that did the same thing with his, it worked and looks fine. Been after these guys since the problem with Ghost Brackets back in May. They finally started shipping the 900 brackets last week. Got the first set from West End Motorsports on order. Was told that he has 2 sets for the LT coming. The bolts are longer because of your back rest.

Good thread here. The admins should make this a sticky. I know many of us down the road could use the info here on future purchases.

Lucky...

Mr. Zazz-
I was curious to the difference between the ISO 6235 and 6240. Thanks to you, now I know.
Now . . .
Does anyone have any thoughts on the LED tail light bulbs>

Cobra V2k Saddlebag supports will fit it. Other v2k supports should fit as well.
