Default Sold AR house - TX full time now

Just a quick post to let everyone know that I have moved to the Rio Grande Valley full time now instead of 6 months a year. Sold the house in the Ark. Ozarks, just too darn expensive to move twice a year. Taxes and utilities for 2 places takes too many $$$$$$ away from putting modes on the Nomad. I suppose I will have to look for a group of Kawi riders down here. (Also, I can ride 12 months a year now)

Dwaine, I may be in trouble down here. I am a Razorback fan from way back when...... also a Wolverine fan since I lived in Michigan until I retired. I used to say my two favorite teams were Michigan and whoever played Ohio State. If AR and MI ever play I will really have troubles. LOL

Thank goodness you finally came to your Senses Wayne, and divested yourself of Clinton Country.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I root for the TX teams now, especially the NBA teams. However, I live in a house divided. She likes the Spurs and I like the Mavs, sure is tough when they play against each other. LOL ER hum, Go Blue!!!

And at least now he will no longer have to deal with the Arkansas Highway Improvement project that has no end in sight.

I honestly think that New Mexico is the only state that has worse highways than Arkansas.

(except for about 150 square miles of East Texas that's actually even worse, but then in the Highway Dept's defense, they're actually scared to go in there, with good reason. )

Are you talking about the highways along the south part of the state? Because the roads in the upper half are in fine riding shape.

Hey Dwaine, I'm with you. I had great riding roads in the northern Ozarks. All the roads to Texas were pretty good except around L.R. and the 30 and 40 freeeways. Ark. really keeps the Ozark twisties in good shape.

Yeah, it was just the freeways, coming through the southern part of the state from Memphis to Texas. Those were awful the last three times I went through there.

I'd love to come up and ride the Ozarks with you someday Woody. I'll wager my next three paychecks that you know all the best backroads and twisties through them hills.

Only about half way to Waynes old place east .I'll have more time to get south to Hot springs area in Oct. (I hope) thats when the fall colors come out and the weather gets a bit cooler. We'll have the place out at the lake done in a few more months so if your thinking about a family vacation next summer or fall to the area let me know . I can even line up somethings to keep the rest of the family happy.
