Default Luggage Rack and Sissy Bar for 900 Classic LT

Does anyone know who makes the sissy bar that comes stock on the 900 classic LT? I would like to get a luggage rack for my bike, but don't know what will fitl
Also, I just got the highway bars/engine guard for my bike. Looks nice. Tested it and the bike rolls right up if she's down. Nice thing about the 900 classic LT - with saddle bags and engine guard, nothing else touches the ground. Nope! Don't want to try it at 70 mph - REALLY!

Contact JC at MeanCycles and see what he can round up for you. He has been real aggressive finding parts for 900 owners. He is on the Delphi VN900 site a lot and has been a big help to many owners who are searching for parts. I don't know who he knows, but he hasn't let anyone down yet.

There currently isn't a luggage rack available for the stock sissy bar on a 900LT. Cobra makes a luggage rack for the 900LT, but it only fits if you have (buy) their sissy bar.

Thanks for the info thus far. Does anyone know who makes the sissy bar that comes stock on the 900 classis LT? Having been in the manufacturing world, I doubt that Kawasaki mekes it, and probably has it made by one of the 'after-market' firms. Has anyone tried to fit an after-market to the stock sissy bar?

Nothing Kawasaki makes, will bolt up to the stock LTs sissy bar... Ive searched. The stock sissy bar is so wide, that nothing hardly can reach it. If it does, then the stock bolts that are 4 inches apart, will no way work with most luggage racks that are only a couple inches if that apart.

I havent gone as far to looking for ones off other brands of machines, because I wouldnt even know where to start.

Looks like we are still all waiting for the Fire and Steel ones to be released. I check the site everyday, since the book says available summer 2006.

I looked in the official Kawasaki accessories manual and they said the luggage rack was due out mid summer. They also listed the measurements to be 7" X 7 1/2". That is going to look awful wimpy when the back rest is about 13 - 14" wide at the bottom where it will attach.

I'm pretty sure I read on here that the Vulcan 2000 sissy bars fit the Vn900. search for a V2k backrest and luggage rack you might find one you like.

Well, looks like I'm going to have to check with a welder friend of mine and see just what it would take to get one made up for a custom fit and to have it chromed.
How many of you 900 LT owners might be interested in a full-width (or near) and almost as long as it is wide luggage rack? Any suggestions for a rack size?
One-off will be pricey, but, if Barney the Welder could do a short run the cost would come down.
