    Default Air box cover VN900

Anyone know if the air cover box form a bigger Vulcan will bolt right on the 900?
I want a differant air filter and since they don't make any after market ones for the 900 I was wondering if, say the 2000 air box cover would bolt right on or a differant model?
    It's just a thought.

What about taking the whole complet air box off, is there an air box and filter that would bolt right on the intake?
    Thanks

For giggles I'll see if Missy's cover will fit on the 900 later today. Will let you know.

One of you 900 owners need to come up with an air mod, like the Cadmann for the big twins or Scooterizing for the 800. Ever who figures it out could name it, like the Pooker mod, known as pookerizing the 900.

Thanks Lobocop, that would be darn nice of you.

bluestringer, I don't need to be in the lime light. I'm just looking for a back door to some mods.

Has anyone ever cut the back off of the air box to let in more air?
This is a mod that people do on sport bikes to let in more air, air box mod.
Can this type of mod be done on a V-Twin?
    Thanks

    Pooker,

There is a substantial difference in overall size between the two covers. The 2000 cover won't fit at all on the 900.

    Sorry guy.
