So, there I was changing the oil for the first time on my wife's new Vulcan 800. NO manual yet, but figured I can change the oil without one.
When I pulled the oil drain plug, a spring, filter and washer came out with the oil, and I need to know what order to put back in. Also, wife says she can't find her owners manual, so how much oil? Thanks. Marty |

you removed the oil screen drain plug wich is different from the drain plug wich is more in the center of the engine.Screen goes first then washer then spring then drain plug.3.5 quarts of oil with filter change. You only need to clean the screen once in a while not every time you change oil.
