Availability of the Mustang Seat for the 900

Per email received this morning from Mustang:

Vulcan 900 Owners,

Mustang will be starting production of our new line of seats for the 900 shortly. We have been working hard to get these seats ready to go and have completed all design and testing earlier than anticipated. The Mustang website will have a new 900 page in a day or two where you can see the seats and place your order.
We will be offering a complete line of one-piece, two-up seats including our Day Tripper seat. Mustang will not be making any two-piece seats or any solo seats for the 900.
Since production has not yet begun, please be aware that orders placed now will have a wait of approximately 6 to 8 weeks. Our original estimate of release of these new seats was for December 2006, so we are about two months early with start of production.
Demand for seats for the 900 has been huge, so we do suggest trying to get your orders in early, as there is already a waiting list of 213 people. You who are receiving this e-mail are those 213. The general public will not know about the new seats until they visit the Mustang website.
