I never have or had a problem with the Cobra bars on my 900LT, and I take the twisties pretty low. I drag the left floor board almost every week coming of the ramp at work, because the turn is like the tip of a rounded arrow head. You really have to get down low to make it, especially with the cars pushing you on from behind. Never a problem.

Maybe it was my boards scraping and not my bar. I was pretty preoccupied at the time, trying not to be high sided. I would swear it was the bar though. I'll look at the bottom of my bar tomorrow and see if there is any wear on it. I have, so far, not dropped the bike since I installed the crash bar. Hopefully I won't.

if your crash bars are touching it probably means you are gonna lose control really soon .I wouldnt worry about them hittng for normal driving,
I scrape my floorboards first
