Hi Guys,
I got wide rear dresser bars from Kawazaki for my 05 1500 classic. It get bolted on the fender suport on top and in the passenger foot peg at bottom. The bars have an off-set to pass in front of the rear shocks, but at rest with no weight on the bike the distance between the bar and the shocks is about 1/8th of an inch. When you sit on the bike the distance increases. My question is when you take a bump and your wieght is off the bike for a second will the bars hit the shocks, and can this damage the shocks and their integirty? can this bend the shocks in the long run or when getting over a big bump at high speed? |
