Post 1500 Classic passenger backrest emblem

I just bought a mustang seat and passenger backrest pad to match. To get the pad on, I have to remove the Fire and Steel emblem from the backrest. I was looking for some ideas on what to replace the F/S emblem with. I thought maybe a brake light maltese cross but am not sure of the mounting. There is nothing wrong with my F/S emblem, I just figured I might be able to customize this area a little.
Thanks ahead of time.

Well I found a belt buckle that I liked. I dremelled off the hook and belt holder, then bent the edges of the buckle as flat as I could. I smeared silicone seal around the edge and a line of it across the middle and mounted it. The silicone is dry and the buckle barely moves. I 'll see how it holds up later on when the riding season starts. If it doesn't hold up I will try double sided tape for automobile trim. Total cost $12.
I thought the Seabee buckle was cool. I was part of them before from '85 to '90.

Should you decided to get rid of the emblem, let me know. I could use another for my Nomad. Would like one for the rear seat as wallas the front.
