chrome drive shaft cover

Ok, I don't think that I'm mechanically inept but has anyone out there installed the Cobra chrome drive shaft cover and chrome 4 bolt cover?
Of course you would think that it was self explanatory (no instructions) but I've run into a problem. If I put the drive shaft cover on first, I assume the rubber boot fits over the cover then I can't get the bolt cover on. (wont go over the chrome shaft cover) Is the bolt cover not supposed to go over the shaft cover? Does it just but up to it? If so, it wont look as clean. I probably should have gotten the Kawasaki one (price was the same). Thanks for the help.

Oh btw, this is for a 99' 1500 classic.

Problem fixed. I was sent the wrong drive shaft cover.
