Exclamation V2K Problem, unexpected speed loss

I rode my bike for the first time today, and have noticed a real problem.
It is fine up to 40km/hr, then it will drop off severely, then all of a sudden climb back up to 80km/hr and go up from there.

Any thoughts?
(Maybe a hint will help. Look closely at my new speedo faceplate)

I'm such a twit sometimes. I just noticed that this morning. I've actually posted pictures of my new faceplate here and no-one noticed.

It certainly gave me a good chuckle.

May as well move all the numbers around since you'll run wide open anyway.

I think your speedometer is infested with demons. You'll need to call a priest and have an exorcism performed immediately.

I'll wait until the headlight starts rotating, green stuff pukes out the exhaust,
and the bike starts screaming "**** me Jesus"

Then i'll just ride the demons out of it. Well, i'm gonna ride the demons out of it anyways.
