Tonight there is a new 900 LT sitting in my garage. I posted a few days ago for advice on the 900 and got nothing but positives from you folks, so today I brought one home. After riding 57 miles from the dealer to home the only thing that I find fault with is the reach. I may have to add risers and an inch or so pull back but that's not a big deal.
Thanks for the advice guys. JOHNDEERE. |

Congratulations! WOO HOO!!!! Now you're going to have to post some pictures for us.
The risers will make a huge difference.

Nice J.D.
I like a man that doesn't take long to make up his mind. I'm sure you will be happy and the advice from here seems to be right on. I have enjoyed my 900lt and have really enjoyed the forum.

Congratulations! Great bike. Just about every Vulcan owner I know has risers. I put 2" Bugsplat risers on my 1500 Classic, and it makes a world of difference. I could have gone with 3 or 4 inches, but that probably would have required new cables ($$$).

My 900Lt was the same way.... I purchased a Mustang seat and a set of PHAT Risers from Scootworks. The risers raised the bars up one inch and two inches back! No cable rerouting and about 10 minutes to install. The chrome risers were $134. Feels like "i'm riding in a recliner.........really great! You will be pleasantly surprised!!!!!
