for a 900 or a Meanie? I just got mine and it doesn't fit and it doesn't look like the one on CA's website... I'm usually pretty handy with these types of things... but this LED board just doesn't seem right.
Any help is appreciated. |

cbr74, Is this the tail light that you ordered?
Code: CTL-0054-L Price: $69.99 If so, I would email them and asking why they goofed? Good Luck

When I first ordered mine I received a clear lense but it came with a round LED board w/spacer to put behind it. I had to re-order just the LED panel that looks custom fit to the rear meanie housing. Works great and I always get compliments about it. I also added the "Back Off XP" to the system.

I ordered one for my 2000... before they had one for the 2000. J&P had it mislabled in their catalog. The one I got was for a Meanie and it looked like the one you show above.

Well, I did call them and they were under the impression I was doing something wrong with the install so to remedy this they are sending me their demo model so I can see how it's installed. Well I figure their demo model has to have the right board so I'll just send the wrong one back to them. Good customer service... odd... but good.

I got mine from Cruisecustomizing. I removed the reflector and it did fit better. I had to get longer screws from the hardware store. All they sent me was the lens and the board, no instructions or other parts. I wrote to Clear Alternatives about the fast blinking of the signal lights and they sent me 2 ceramic looking resistors. Blinking and auto turn off of signals working perfectly now.

Clear Alternatives seem to screw up a lot! Oh well, as long as they take care of you after their mistake to put things right.
