Thumbs up CHERI TURNS PRO ~ Critics Rave!

Okay, I'm not a premier movie and the critics are hubby and my brother....
however, I BECAME A REAL BIKER TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My brother showed up today (while Chaz was at work) and dragged me out on the bike. He didn't play around either! He had me following him ALL OVER THE PLACE!!!! I went down back roads with twisties, out on main roads where I hit 60 mph, traffic lights and stop sign intersections. Had to stop and get gas with him, he took me so many places! My goal used to be that one day I wanted to be able to make the trip to his house (20 miles away). Well, I did that today.

In his driveway:

I felt like a pro!!!!! The wind didn't even bother me today. I kept up with my brother at 60 mph. I had my very FIRST day of waving at bikers as the actual "driver" on a bike I must have had dozens of bikers pass and wave, and I would wave back with a HUGE grin on my face!!!!

I even experienced the cagers that have ZERO respect for bikers. I got my VERY FIRST flipped off "bird" today too!!!!! I was on a main road following behind my brother. We were doing about 60 mph and the speed limit was 50 mph. I had this lady in a little burgundy car riding up my tailpipe!!!!!! Our 60 mph wasn't fast enough for her!!!!! It was a single lane each way, so I was stuck with her riding WAY TOO close to me for many miles. When we approached a left turn road we were taking, I put on my turn signal, and then tapped my brake light many times to make SURE she knew I was slowing down to turn. Well, she whipped around me to the right and flipped me off as she passed me!!!!!!! She flipped me off!!!!! Why?!!!!!!

Oh well, I didn't let that ruin my day!!! When Chaz got home, he jumped on his bike and all three of us rode. Heck, I even had to fill my tank again!!!! I put almost 200 miles on my bike today

The ONLY areas I am still weak, are those darned right turns. Tonight we went to dinner with my brother and sister-in-law. We went in his car, so he kidded with me. When he would make the right turns (in his car), he would swing way out and tell everybody thats how I made MY right turns on the bike!!! I laughed...I am just SO happy that I got out and rode my bike all over the place today!!! I feel like I could ride anywhere now!!!!

All our bikes at a rest stop

Chaz

Look out cagers!!!!! Here I come!!!!!!!!

You go girl!!!!!

Lean a little more in those right turns. And remember to look where you want to go, not where you are going.

And she EXPLODES into the world of riding...

You GO Girl!!!

Wasn't it just a few days ago you were stressing about the MSF class taking too long to get here???

Finding nuetral a little easier yet?

I'm really glad to see you having so much fun, and growing in your skills.

Yes, as a matter of fact my brother was telling me that too. I wasn't leaning and going fast enough in the turns.

Thank you Mike!!!!!
It's hard to believe how far I have come, yet how long it has taken me
Once my brother just got me out there doing it, I was shocked at how well I did. Everything just seem to come naturally All those other things I fret over seem trivial now. Nuetral is no problem now! Wind buffeting is no problem now!

Because without the SpeedoHealer, you were actually doing about 53-55
