Default Sad news, decided to sell Bluebelle!!

I discovered she (my 1600 Classic) had some minor frame tweaks still in the rear since I bought it as a salvage bike........I never got the rear fenders to align up all the way......nor do I have the expertise or equippment to correct it, so being a detailed fanatic that I am.....I decided it was best to let her go for the price I could get..........while the market is right.......still new owner was thrilled to take on that job.

Hmmh.........now I'm bike less pending whether I need a better cage or should get into another bike?

Guess Even I will stay away from salvage vehicles since it takes some expertise I don't have to fix one.

No worries, I will still come for Red Lodge 2007.....EVEN if I have to rent a bike.

Still, this is the hardest thing I've ever had to do to let that bike leave my property.

But there is a red 2005 Meanstreak for sale by a local dealer with 96 miles on it.

Sorry to hear you had to sell your baby, after you gave her so much love and care.

You and I are now in the same boat, but we'll get to RL somehow.

...so tell us a little more about that MS you've been eyeing.

Hmmh.......yeah the V2K.......it is 1st on my wishlist.......unfortunately I'm trying to get rid of plastic debt too........unless I find an early V2K. But I will look around for awhile....weather is still crappy here in this early spring....so I'm not missing out too much so far. At least I got in 500 miles on my 1600 this year before i sold her.

Call the Kawy dealership in Couer D'Alene (don't remember the name), when we were their last summer they had 5 V2K's on the floor.

C'mon................you know you wanna!

Whew! I was relieved to read that you're still coming to RL. I was afraid this would mean that you weren't, and I'm really looking forward to meeting you.

So sorry to hear about the bike, but maybe this just means that the perfect bike is waiting around the corner for you.

The local Honda/Suzuki dealer has a used 2005 Meanstreak for $8995.00 with 960 miles. I think that is a little much, I think I can do better...I might call Jim/Laurie at BTK???

I think moparman got his V2K for $8220 a while back, if I remember correctly. You could have a V2K for less than that Meanie, AND...

YA GOTTA HAVE A BIKE!!!!

Thats WAY too much. You can find leftover brand new 06 models for less.

I love my mean streak, but if you can find a v2k for the price some of the others are quoting...

sorry for the loss Ronnie. But you had better get a bike. Imagine your life without a bike. You will be heart broken.

Two guys from work just bought new bikes. They were left over from 2006 with zero miles. One guy bought a honda vtx 1300 and got just about 3 grand off the list price and they even delivered it 70 miles to his house. Nice bike. The other guy grabbed a boulevard also with major cash off. I think the Suzy had some 1000 dollar rebate as well.
When I decided last year to buy a new one, I sorta made my mind up too late in that there were no leftovers to be had except for a kawi 800 drifter. I liked it until I sat on a 900.

Lucky...
