    Default 900 pipes

alright, it's time for new pipes.
it's my birthday this coming wednesday, and my parents decided they would buy me my aftermarket pipes for the bike
i was going to go w/ the cobra shorts, but they are on back order right now, and the only REAL reason i was going w/ them, was cause i see everyone is running them, and don't say anything bad about them.
i was also looking at the BGHK 2 1/2" shorts that look exactly like the cobra's, but they are double wall pipes, instead of having heat shields, and they are much LOUDER!!!
i'm not worried about loud, as i'm 25, and enjoy REALLY loud pipes on cruisers.
i've just heard some bad experiences w/ nomad's and 1600's cracking around the rear mount. my dealer said they would choose the hard krome's over the cobra's, but i want to hear from you guys on what you think.
    thanx in advance,

    Andy

I love my Cobra shorts. I understand not being able to wait for a backorder. It is a tough thing to do! Hope you find something else you like soon!

i think i'm leaning towards the hard krome shorts, but i don't want to jump into them, if someones already had them, and has something bad to say about them. i hate spending that much money, if i'm buying a crappy product.

Well........almost everyone. Last I heard VH were on a bike at the International Show, but, wouldn't be available for some time. Also, only one style. Rise and shine! The season's here.

the v&h guy i spoke to said they won't be available for another couple months, but will be on the website shortly.
the cobra's are nice pipes, i'm just not sold on the sound. my brother has the slash down's on his bike, and i'm just not a fan. the fit and finish is amazing, but i don want to buy the pipes, if i'm not big on the sound. i was just set on buying them b/c everyone else was running them, and said nothing bad about them. maybe being on back order was a sign for me to buy the hard krome's....
anyway, thanx for the remarks guys, keep it comin.

yeah, they are. i've heard them on an VN800 and LOVED the sound.
i was just worried about what people on here had said about cracking.
